[20 minutes] Grammar Review: Imparfait!
- Students write the 12 homework sentences au tableau.
- CAH checks homework at this time.
- Students then change subjects of verbs on board!
[30 minutes] More Grammar Practice: Imparfait + Passé Composé
- At desks, students add a past tense clause to each of the homework sentences—e.g.:"We were camping in Yellowstone when we saw Bigfoot."
- Share sentences!
- Note the time sequence: imparfait = "was happening" or "used to happen"; passé composé = "happened."
- Do p. 238 Exercise 6 together.
[30 minutes] Vocab Review!
- CAH asks students numerous questions about camping trips and camping gear.
- Then some student face-to-face practice!
Les Devoirs:
- Pick five verbs. Write the six imperfect forms and six past tense forms of each (e.g.: faire: je faisait/j'ai fait, tu faisais/tu as fait...).
- Study like crazy for Vocab Quiz 7.1 lundi!
