{10 minutes}: Review Les Devoirs! Students read exs 28-30 aloud, emphasizing proper preposition+article combos!
{30 minutes} Practice Exprimons-Nous p. 55
- First CAH asks each individual "Tu parles bien français?" Students respond using (très) bien ou (très) mal.
- Then CAH demos "Tu préfères/aimes mieux..." et "Quelles sont tes activités préférées?" Emphasize conjunctions ou, mais, and et.
- Students pair up, ask each other these questions, and prepare dialogues using each:
- Student A: "Tu préfères/aimes mieux...?"
- Student B: "J'aime... mais je préfère/aime mieux.... Et quelle sont tes activités préférées?"
- Student A: "J'aime/Je préfère...."
- Students present at front!
- CAH displays flash cards on screen, students compete to respond first
- Perhaps try one round showing French and asking for the English, then flipping to show English and ask for French.
- Include some vocabulary from the first half of the chapter!
- Flash cards available on Moodle in Microsoft Ink Flash Card format!
