[40 minutes] Vocabulary Practice!
- Students practice listening and pronunciation of words in pairs (CAH checks homework during this time).
- CAH drills students on countries first. Practice with "tu as visité... tu veux visité...?"
- Drill remaining vocab together. Note masculine/feminine differences in nationality adjectives.
- Written practice: do p. 348 Exs. 2 and 3.
[40 minutes] New Grammar: Future Tense! pp. 250 and 252
- Easier than past tense, harder than imperfective!
- New endings: -ai, as, -a, ons, -ez, -ont
- Basic stems: use infinitive of -er and -ir verbs; use infinitive of -re verbs minus the -e.
- Note irregulars on p. 252
Les Devoirs: pp. 250–251 Exs. 26, 27, and 28. (Yes, as usual, write out the complete sentences.)
